Is the Online Poker Game Forged?

February 5, 2007

No, the online poker is not forged as the online sites do not make their money from your losses; they make it from the rake so they don’t have a reason to cheat you. Don’t listen to any hacker who brags about owning different programs which help them cheat on poker sites.

Play as you usually do, do not bother about such thinks; the sites do not intently make you lose, other players do it. The sites collect an amount of the money each player bets. That amount is called the rake, and the more bets are made the more the casinos make, so you can see that it’s in their best interest to have as many players as possible.

At low money tables you will often see more high valued hands than at other tables and this is not a flaw at the machine, is just that the game is more loose when this types of bets are placed. As we said before do not trust the hackers. Their so called cheating programs are nothing but a way for them to cheat you; you won’t be able to cheat any site with them. The security of any gambling site is way high for you to trust such programs.

Cheating may only occur when two players cheat together. They come prepared, play at the same table and communicate their hands and make different strategies. Players who take a large amount of time to action before the flop might be these kinds of cheaters. There may also be players that raise or re-raise depending on the round. A normal player usually has a strategy and he often bets in the same style, but these fluctuating players might bet in that way to help his fellow cheater.

If you can spot these cheaters be sure that the casino spots them as well and they prevent such things from happening. They can’t be banned forever as there always will appear new players which will try to cheat the system to make money. When you notice a shady player, report him to the casino and always be sure to play at an established poker site as you won’t have anything to worry about.
