Lawmakers Press for New Approaches on U.S Ban

Chairmen of two House of Representatives committees: House Financial Services Committee Chairman Barney Frank, House Judiciary Committee Chairman John Conyers and six other lawmakers condemn the Bush administration's action on the online gambling ban issues. “As an alternative to paying compensation to the European Union and other trading associates the government should investigate more on the legislation and roll back the U.S. ban on online gambling” they wrote in a letter to U.S. Trade Representative Susan Schwab
